Five Serves Farm Flood Recovery

We need your help to relocate and re-plant our farm after being flooded for the second time this year. Five Serves is a valuable community asset, providing fresh organic local veggies to over 70 households a week. We have been running for over six years, thanks to the support of our local community in Sydney and the Blue Mountains. This is the third time in 18 months that a flood has wiped us out. After the March 2021 flood, we doubled our customers and grew better veg than ever. We were then flooded again in March this year, and most recently this July. Our veggies are prolific and delicious, however we cannot continue to farm on land that is so flood-prone and watch them be wiped out again. As such, we have decided to relocate the farm before we begin planting again. This process will take several months until we have moved all our equipment, prepared the soil, planted and have mature vegetables ready to sell again.
