$5 for Puerto Rico

It has come to our attention that the minimum donation that gofundme will accept is $5. We are embarrassed and very sorry that this was not disclosed to us when creating this page. After suffering TWO devastating Category 4 Hurricanes in TWO weeks, our beautiful isla Puerto Rico is in need of our help.  While the physical infrastructure is made to withstand yearly tropical storms, our people are in dire need of supplies such as water, baby items, amongst other things to get by while things get back to normal. 

We have to do something. 

Hell my name is Alex Vazquez. My cousin Victor and I
wanted to do something different. As of right now the entire island is without power. Nobody has any means to communicate with family members who arent in proximity.  Today everybody has cell phones. I wanted to raise money to purchase mini portable usb chargers so our people can charge their cell phones in order to call, text, and/or check in on facebook to let family and friends know that they are ok.  

We understand that it may be a one time use because power is expected to be out for weeks and possibly months. However its all about the peace of mind. 

These are my people.  We follow the great JJ Watt on Instagram.  Watching the support the NFL superstar go in raising money for Houston was amazing.  He even got me to donate to the cause.  Even the great late Roberto Clemente inspired me.  We are not even in the same stratosphere in terms of fame as they are however, We have over 2500 facebook friends.  You all have around the same amount as we do. 

All we ask is a $5 donation.   Think about it.  If 2,000 people donated five dollars, our goal would be met. 

We all have blown five dollars on non-sense before. Make this one count.
