On September 19th, Alyson gave birth to Reid Gregory. Soon after his birth, it was discovered that Reid had a brain bleed. As a result, Reid was rarely awake and did not eat. He had to have a feeding tube to regulate his nutrition. Finally, after 2 weeks Reid was allowed to join his big brother Clayton at home!
However, 2 days later Reid was readmitted to the NICU when he stopped eating again. This time Reid had an infection in his intestines and became septic. He was again put on a feeding tube and is now on a special formula to try to regain his strength. Although he is recovering slowly, Reid has a long road ahead of him.
Kyle and Alyson have been with Reid every day. At the same time, they are bouncing back home to take care of their oldest son Clayton. This has been a long journey for this family and we would like to do as much as we can to help Kyle, Alyson, Clayton, and Reid.
Money raised will go towards helping pay for the cost of meals at the hospital, costs of daycare for Clayton, and the cost of NICU stays.
