Fitchburg Music for Youth

The Fitchburg Cultural Alliance, a not-for-profit arts agency and Eddy's Music, 18 Mill St., Fitchburg have partnered to bring free or low cost options for music lessons to disadvantaged area youth.

Lessons are taught by professional local musicians who are experienced teachers. Guitar, voice, piano, and band instrument lessons are offered in small groups (2-4) or individual.

Our belief is "no child will be denied the opportunity to learn an instrument"… if we can help it!

We are running out of funds to continue music lessons from now until June 2017. Help us continue this program without interruption!  The average cost per student is $250 which includes 8 weeks of lessons, music book and accessories.  There is also a need to repair and purchase music instruments which can range anywhere from $50 to $200 each.

Your support OF ANY AMOUNT means more than you know for these kids.  Music lessons gives so many kids a reason to come to school, a chance for them to discover a new talent, and express themselves through the music.

Learning music teaches discipline through practice and hard work resulting in greater confidence and success in school.

Thank you from the bottom of our heArts!

Eddy, Jennifer, teachers, families and students
