<div>We are a group of villagers who come together each week as part of Wymeswold’s local fitness group called Wymeswold Fitness managed by Ava Kenning.
</div>
<div>On the 7th February 2026, we have set ourselves a huge challenge with an even bigger purpose. We will be taking on the Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge, a demanding route of 16 miles, climbing three iconic peaks, all to raise money for Wymeswold village pre-school.
</div>
<div>About the team: Ava’s club is made up of all fitness levels. Some of us are seasoned walkers and runners, others will be pushing well beyond comfort zones, but we are united by one thing which is a shared belief in the importance of our village and the children who grow up in it. We will be walking every step together, supporting each another as a team, just as our community does every day.
</div>
<div>We are supporting an organisation that relies on donations to exist!
</div>
<div>Wymeswold village pre-school is so much more than a place where children learn their ABCs. It is an important part of our rural community joining children, parents, families and friends together. The team at Wymeswold pre-school are passionate about what they do and create a safe, nurturing space where children take their very first steps into education, build confidence, make friendships, and learn through play. For many new parents and families to the village, it is where lifelong friendships and local connections begin.
</div>
<div>Every donation raised will go directly towards supporting this vital part of our village life.
</div>
<div>Our Challenge
</div>
<div>The Leicestershire 3 Peaks is no small feat. Covering 16 miles of challenging terrain, steep climbs, and long hours on our feet, it will test us physically and mentally. But with breathtaking scenery, determination, and teamwork, we are ready to take it on knowing every step is supported by you with your kind donations.
</div>
<div>Come With Us on the Journey
</div>
<div>For everyone who kindly donates, we promise to take you with us. On the day, we will be sharing photos and videos of our journey the highs, the tough moments, the laughter, and the stunning Leicestershire views so you can feel part of the challenge and see exactly what your support is helping to achieve.
</div>
<div>Thank You
</div>
<div>Donate, share our page, or cheer us on, your support means the world to us and to the children who benefit from our amazing village pre-school. Together, we can make a real difference one step, hopefully no stumbles, one mile, and one peak at a time.
</div>
<div>Thank you for supporting our challenge and our community
