Since I was 6 years old I knew that Theatre was my passion. I've since pursued this dream by teaching theatre in schools; to senior citizens; and in prison. I have written plays, acted in plays and have discovered in my own art making a passion for socially conscious theatre.
I am currently one semester away from graduating with an MFA in Theatre from Sarah Lawrence College. As I approach the end of my time at SLC, I would appreciate any help in paying for my last semester at College.
My time at Sarah Lawrence has been very productive: I've performed in several productions, volunteered as a teacher, sound designed and I've been working very hard on creating a solo thesis show. In addition to all of that I've worked for the department of Student Affairs and the department of Facilities and Operations to sustain myself.
It's my dream to pursue a career in Theatre that impacts the communities I live in. This MFA is a crucial step in that journey.
I'd appreciate any help at all in helping me graduate from the program, no gift is too small.
