Fishtown Neighbors Association COVID Relief Fund

Want to join us in making a difference? Fishtown Neighbors Association  (FNA) is raising money that would help about 300 Fishtown households in need with 1-2 weeks of groceries and other essential items from Fishtown businesses during the toughest weeks of the COVID-19 outbreak. 

This is an unprecedented time. As of today, there are over 500,000 cases of COVID-19 nationwide, and 5,000 cases in Philadelphia alone. Our neighbors have banded together to start a Mutual Aid Network to support at-risk and vulnerable residents in Fishtown with volunteers who want to help during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Since we first started advertising the program on March 30th, over 100 volunteers have signed up to help in this program, and we have fulfilled 187 requests for help so far. Many of them have been for groceries and masks which the volunteers are paying for out of their own pockets.

Your contribution will help us purchase groceries, medicine, safety items,  and other household essentials for people who have been impacted by COVID-19 and cannot afford or otherwise acquire these items on their own. We will purchase from local brick and mortar stores as much as possible so that we are supporting the small businesses in our community.
