I've been on a wild ride the last ten years on the back of Angels beyond my wildest dreams and imagination. Loss of family, Lucy, our home! Finding out who your real friends are in your time of dying need is a strange reality. Every day is a challenge for us all. Live, Love, Give. I've had to take it all with a grain of salt and hope for better days ahead, one day at a time.
I was homeless during Covid on the front line driving my fn ass off 24/7, getting essential workers to where they needed to be. I was a vital worker caught up in a thankless job. I risked my own life, health and safety to help others just so I could eat a warm meal and survive daily. The news was telling everyone to stay home... I didn't have a home.
Christmas 2021 I had major robotic hernia repair surgery. I've been battling some complications after that surgery which led to my numerous doctor visits, ultrasounds and financial co-pay burdens, even with insurance this year. I have to now undergo more surgery next week to remove fluid and scar tissue.
This year I just cleaned out my savings on medical bills and did nice random things for friends, homeless people and strangers. I need a few kind and caring Angels to help to get through the next sixty days as I slowly get back to work. I will not be able to lift over 5 pounds or squat, and I'll be sporting stitches and a fluid drainage tube in my groin for a few weeks. I don't feel well. I'm in a lot of discomfort and agony just trying to get out of bed in the morning. I hope this next surgery helps me regain my power.
