<div>Friends of Butte Creek (FBC) acquired a water right that is dedicated to instream flow for the protection of aquatic resources in Butte Creek in perpetuity. The water is protected under California Fish and Wildlife code 1707. FBC is establishing the Flow Fund to cover the expenses to maintain this first water right for fish on Butte Creek. In addition, the Flow fund will help support activities to acquire more water rights for fish.  Acquiring water through purchase and or lease will aid the survival of these endangered salmon.

<div>Our goal is to raise $25,000 to to keep the water flowing forever. We are short of our goal and need to raise another $7,000. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the salmon!
