First Tech Challenge Team 18045

Rusty Nail Robotics is in continuous need of support! A donation of any amount is always appreciated.

 

We are currently spooling up to attend the Ellsworth Air Show on May 14-15! This event will be a kickoff event for the beginning of our third season of First Tech Challenge! With each year, the team learns new things and overcomes new obstacles.

 

We also discovered we need to do more fundraising. FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) encourages teams to do fundraising for their expenses. This page will be a general fundraising place for accepting donations to our team.

 

Here are a few of the costs/fees associated with First Tech Challenge and the costs of some of the parts and equipment we would like.

 

Fees.

-Anual Registration: $295

-Qualifier Registration: $50

-Regional Championship Registration: $50 (if qualified)

-World Championship Registration: $2000 (if qualified)

 

General Stuff.

-Upgrade from PVC Field Perimeter to the Official Perimeter: $750

-90º Gearboxes for our drive system: $175

-General Robot partsmaterials: $300

-Outreach Materials: $300

-Team Attire: $200

 

In addition to this, our Qualifier and Regional Tournament are in Bismarck and Fargo, North Dakota. We hope to qualify for The World Festival in Houston, TX, in the 22/23 season. That's a lot of travel and lodging.

 

This Fundraiser will be managed by the team coach Mr. Tippmann.
