We’ve all been stunned by the catastrophic damage caused by Hurricane Harvey. As this storm continues to play havoc throughout Texas and Louisiana, we’ve watched individuals’ lives changed forever. Thousands of people have lost everything they own. Like me, I’m sure your heart and thoughts go out to those who have lost so much.
More than 1,700 of our First Student team members have been impacted by this terrible tragedy. I’m happy to report all our colleagues are safe and accounted for, but many are now staying in hotels, others with friends or at emergency shelters. Their lives, as they now know it, will never be the same.
