<div>Tijdens de jaarwisseling kregen eerstelijns hulpverleners (first responders) opnieuw te maken met gericht vuurwerkgeweld. Het gaat om mensen die zich dagelijks inzetten voor onze veiligheid op straat — zoals politie, brandweer, ambulance en BOAs.

<div>Met deze crowdfunding willen we een positief tegengeluid laten horen en onze waardering tonen. De opbrengst wordt ingezet voor rust, herstel en waarderingsinitiatieven voor hulpverleners, zoals uitrust-plekken, collegiale steunplekken, rustige activiteiten, collegiale- of gezinsuitstapjes.

<div>Omdat hulpdiensten zelf geen donaties mogen aannemen, loopt deze actie via Rescue Workers’ Foundation, een onafhankelijke stichting die zich inzet voor het welzijn van hulpverleners en hun dierbaren.
