VC Silver Bricks FIRST Robotics Championship!

The Virginia City Silver Bricks is a  4-H club FIRST Lego League robotics team. We WON the regional competition on January 26th, which means we will be the sole team to represent Nevada in the National Championship  games  in Houston, Texas in April! 

We're so honored to have this opportunity! And we're so daunted by how much it will cost to send the team down for the four day competition!  

We've calculated how much it will cost to send the 8 team members (kids and coaches), and with airfare, hotel, food, and entry fee, it's over $13,500. We could use your help! 

We'll be working hard over the the weeks leading up to the competition, gaining more points in the robot games, talking to more experts about our Virtual AI buddy idea for astronauts, and coming up with new ways to help other teams in any way we can. 

We would be so appreciative if you can help with with the funding portion of this Big Opportunity. Meanwhile, we'll do our best to represent ourselves, our great town, and the state of Nevada the best that we can!
