First Aid Clinic/Near Playa Iguana

It is a blessing that a local family has donated a piece of land within the first gate of Hacienda Iguana for the medical clinic!!!The idea is to build a First Response clinic and have someone available 24/7 to help for emergencies. Depending on the severity of the injury, the person will be stabilized and transported to a hospital or given care on site. The rotating doctors on site will be highly qualified volunteers from the US, Canada, Nicaragua, etc.

We are looking to continue improving the health services in Nicaragua. Whether you're a past visitor or future tourist, local, or live here. We want to be able to provide services at our non profit facility. Please help our dream become a reality in hopes of making Nicaragua, not only a fabulous place to visit, but a safe one that will provide medical care if needed close to Play Iguana.

Hacienda Iguana Nicaragua grows  and more people come to visit and play. Because of this, more accidents happen everyday and we have a huge need a for a First response facility that's easily accessible.

The clinics location will be near La Vista entrance so it will be available to ANYONE! Locals, Iguana residents, visitors. We are also planning on holding regular CPR and First Aid classes in English and Spanish, 
 free of charge and anyone will be welcomed to attend.

How else you can help:

- Do you or anyone you know work in the medical field - any donations are welcome - equipment, medication, etc. We will be happy to store it until the walls go up.
- Perhaps you are a doctor /nurse and would like to volunteer yourself (housing will be provided on site)
-do you have knowledge in marketing/have medical connections in Nicaragua, etc
