Marco Thomas and his family - three generations - have lived on Griffin Avenue in Richmond's Northside for more than 30 years. On Friday, June 16, their home went up in flames. Everything was destroyed.
The two-alarm fire was so ferocious it sent multiple firefighers to the hospital. Thankfully, Marco and his uncle weren't home and are safe. While insurance is helping with a hotel for now, other expenseses are sure to pile up.
