Firefighter’s Apartment Destroyed by Fire

The Good Will Fire Department, Inc. is raising money for their brother firefighter, Eric Hill, whose apartment was totally destroyed due to a third alarm structural fire.  Eric and his family (Lenise his wife, Eric, Jr. his son, and Rebecca his niece) lost all their apartment furnishings, clothes (including his military and Fire Department uniforms), school supplies, musical instruments, food, and their personal belongings.  His niece and son escaped the disaster physically unharmed, thank God.

Eric is currently serving his country in the Army Reserves with seven (7) years active duty and ten plus (10+) years in the Reserves. He has been deployed twice and an overseas tour.  He is an active volunteer firefighter with the Good Will Fire Department with three plus (3+) years of service.  Eric also is a Music Ministry Assistant and drummer at Tabernacle Faith Christian Fellowship in Newburgh, NY.  He works for a car transport company in Orange County, NY.

Eric and his family need money to secure a residence, furnishings for that residence, clothes for him, his wife, son, and niece, school supplies for his son, and replace their personal belongings.

The fire occurred on Thursday, February 20, 2020.  They are presently housed in a hotel in Newburgh, NY.  Their immediate needs are clothes and a place to relocate to.  Once that is done, they will need to take care of the rest of their needs.
