Firefighter Chuck Zienkiewicz Fight for Life

Donation protected
I would like to take a minute and introduce you to Chuck Zienkiewicz.  Captain of the West York Fire Department, Chuck has devoted his career life to serving the community and those in need.  A family man, Chuck is a loving and caring husband to his wife Heather and their four children Danielle, Carter, Makaylah and Savannah.  He is the son of Charles (deceased) and Evelyn Zienkiewicz.  Chuck has three siblings: brothers David and Chris, and a sister Jennifer.  He is also a devoted uncle, cousin, nephew, and step-son.  A man of strong faith, and a lover of music, Chuck attends Ambassador’s Bible Chapel where he serves on the Worship Team as the lead guitarist.

Of all the lessons Chuck has learned in life, the most important one was taught to him by his father…that there is no greater gift than the love of family and friends.  Perhaps it’s his love of all people that has enabled him to be loved by so many in return.  Chuck is always the first one on the scene, not only in his work life, but with family and friends as well.  There is literally no challenge that Chuck is not willing to meet.  Always self-sacrificing, putting others first, Chuck is an ambassador of happiness to all who know him.

Chuck fell critically ill over three weeks ago and has been hospitalized in the ICU at Hershey Medical Center.  We continue to lift him up in prayer and hope that his condition will improve every day.  While we know that God’s hand is at work and are praying for a quick and speedy recovery, the road ahead is long and challenging.  As his family, we want to remove any roadblock possible in the hopes of giving Chuck the best chance of having a quick and full recovery.  While we are willing to do everything in our power, like Chuck we know when it’s time to call for assistance.  It is our hope that you will partner with us in our efforts to alleviate some of the financial burdens that will be imposed upon Chuck and his family as a result of his illness.  I am creating this GoFundMe to give all of his friends, family, and community an opportunity to support Chuck and his recovery efforts through a financial donation.

Thank you all so much for visiting and sharing this page and keeping Chuck and his family in your thoughts and prayers.

With love and gratitude,

Family and friends of Chuck Zienkiewicz
