Save the Seattle Fireboat Duwamish
Donation protected
The Seattle Fireboat Duwamish is a piece of Seattle history. Currently, the boat is in need of repair. Our goal is to bring it back to its original glory.
Update! Thanks to a generous grant from 4Culture we have been able to open the engine room. The engine room is now available for touring. Please call [phone redacted] to schedule a time.
We are currently raising funds to have the ship painted.
Please keep our history afloat. If you are a firefighter, historian, seaman, Seattlite, or anyone who just wants to do the right thing, please contribute generously to this effort.
The Seattle Fireboat Duwamish is open for tours every Sunday (weather permitting) from 11 am to 4pm at the South Lake Union Historic Ships Wharf at 650 Terry Ave. N. in Seattle behind the Museum of History and Industry (MOHAI).
The Duwamish is a not-for-profit, 501c3, registered National Historic Landmark and a Seattle Historic Landmark.
