Fire and Ice Expedition

We're Nacho and Diego, two high school seniors living in Madrid, Spain. We are currently planning on performing a 70 day hiking and camping expedition around Iceland for next year which we have named the Fire and Ice Expedition. Our intended departure date is September 1, 2018. The mission is to begin in the capital of Reykjavik and circle the entire country counterclockwise unassistedly, meaning that we will receive no help other than ourselves during the entire length of the trip. This has never been done before, making the expedition the longest unassisted and continuous hike done in Iceland. In addition, we will become the youngest people to ever circle the island. Despite all of the training and preparation necessary for this, money will always be an issue. Your donation will help us pay for things like hiking gear, food, and the technology necessary in order to make this amazing, yet gruelling trip happen. Although we greatly appreciate all donations however big or small, we will personally send a Fire and Ice T-shirt to any donor who gives over 20 Euros as a sign of our gratitude.
