OFFICIAL FIRE REPORT STATED THAT FIRE WAS CAUSED BY ELECTRICAL WIRING
I’m making this update since there are a few individuals who are not involved in this tragic situation that have thoughts of their own that they feel as though they need to share. Yes, the family did lose all of their possessions due to a fire caused by an electrical issue. Yes, they were renting that home and had renters insurance of their own, which is what most responsible adults do. When the fire happened, it was brought to light that the LANDLORD HAD NO HOME INSURANCE on this home that was being rented out, which is why she has sought out to try and get this page removed because she was not covered so she feels as though she has been wronged somehow. That was negligence on her end and she is now creating false headlines in hopes to have the campaign reported and removed. While the family did not own this home, they have still lost everything. Not once was it mentioned in the original post that the family owned this home, just that they lost everything in the home, which IS TRUE. They lost everything in the fire including furniture of their own, clothing, music equipment/instruments, kitchen china/silverware, collectibles and not to mention EVERY SINGLE FAMILY HEIRLOOM AND MEMORY THEY EVER HAD, ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILY PETS, those two things of which can never be replaced. Please know your facts before you try to attack someone who has already been through so much. Michael Zellman will be the beneficiary for this campaign, he is Mary Perfetti's husband, it is the house they were renting that burned down. Again, we appreciate everyone’s love and support and we thank you all so much!
**** UPDATE ****
We have hit our goal of $5,000! You guys are truly incredible and it is so immensely appreciated from all of us!! We are going to leave the campaign open and extend the goal total to $10,000 since we are not sure exactly how much will be needed.
Please know that any and all donations on our campaign will continue to be appreciated! We thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity!
If anyone would like to make material donations (dish ware, furniture, lamps, etc.) please contact me directly. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!
Thank you all again, so so much!

On May 11, 2019 at 7am my boyfriend's family house caught on fire. It is a blessing that all of the family members made it out alive, but they have lost everything to the fire, including their pets and are devastated. The family is not the type to ever ask for anything, which is why I have created this page for them. Since they are starting over with nothing, we have created this page in hopes to raise money for them to be able to secure a house or apartment, along with furniture, clothing, etc. Anything that you can contribute would be a major help and if you would like to donate any clothing, furniture or other items you may have, it would be greatly appreciated! For material donations, please email/contact me. If you are unable to donate, we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers!
The family members are all very shaken up, but they are safe and we are thankful that they are all still with us today. Thank you all so much for taking the time to read this and consider donating, it is much appreciated from us all.
