Fire Victims Homeless
Donation protected
My daughter Brittany Bentivegna, her husband Spencer Sumski and my 4 -year-old granddaughter Lola, along with her uncles Chris Phillips and Gabe Chalfant were all displaced after their house caught fire Friday, July 5th at 2 a.m. in Charlotte, NC. Their cat Sparky and their dog Diesel both survived, but are homeless too. They all lost everything and I am trying to help raise funds so they can rebuild. Lola is without her treasures, her doll house, her stuffed animals, pictures etc.
Brittany and Spencer have been married 5 years and were just building their lives together. Her brother, Chris Phillips, 27, graduated Athens High School in 2008 and was staying with her. He is also without a place to live. Gabe Chalfant, 28, graduated Athens High School in 2007. The fire started in his room so he won't be able to salvage anything! He is currently in a hotel. The story is in the Charlotte Observer and on the WSOC TV website, found here: https://www.wsoctv.com/news/local/child-and-4-adults-safe-after-east-charlotte-home-caught-fire-officials-say/964123938
Their need is immediate. Every little bit would help and is greatly appreciated.
