<div>Starting October 16th, I'll be <strong>walking 700 miles</strong> to raise money and awareness for January's fire victims. I'm trekking throughout California from Altadena to Paradise!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Be sure to <strong>check this page each night</strong> for updates! I'll share where I am and all the stories along the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The money we raise covers costs, such as lodging and food. The rest supports the <a href="https://www.eatonfirecollaborative.org/about" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Eaton Fire Collaborative</strong></a>, a group of over 150 local nonprofits, community groups, and state officials united in their support for Altadena.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The #1 thing you can do is <strong>share this page with friends and family</strong>. Even a $5 or $10 pledge goes a long way towards our goals!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Step by step, I'm walking to Paradise. <strong>Thank you for joining me!</strong>
</div>
<div><br />

</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Demitri, but you can call me "Demi" or my online handle: "Scoutmaster Demi." When my family <strong>home of 30+ years was burned to the ground</strong> in January, I felt compelled to do something big for our communities.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>That's why I'm excited to work with the Eaton Fire Collaborative on making real change.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>While the road to recovery is still long and fraught with uncertainty... <strong>Let's raise awareness for January fire victims together </strong>and make this a journey to remember!
