Hello, my name is Kristina Dixon. I just turned 25 years old this October. I live with my fiancé, Stephen Smith, and our 3 cats, Whiskey, Bean, and Grizwald. We had just moved down to Warsaw after a few months with the help of my lovely mom to start fresh.
Today, November 27th, my fiancé and I went to work, as we do to save up for our dream life and home in the future. We came home at exactly 11:18 am and had our lunch, saying hello to our sweet babies and eating our lovely homemade chili. At 11:40 am, we went back to work happy about the day. We just got our new Christmas decorations to celebrate the holidays since we haven't had the room or money for about 3 years and thought this year is the year, so we did it for the happiness of all of us. And at exactly 12:41 pm, we got a call that our cabin was on fire. Devastated, my fiancé and I ran out and drove home scared and just at a loss, scared for our babies. Luckily, one of our neighbors kicked our door open, and our oldest cat, Whiskey, got out safe and sound. After an hour, we found our dwarf cat, Bean, tucked in a corner with no serious injuries except for her paw pads. My boy, who I've had since he was born, is still gone. We didn't see anything to alert us of him being in the house, and we think he got out. We lost our belongings and photos of our lost loved ones, our Christmas decorations, all of our clothes, the things that kept my fiancé and me happy and content are gone. Anything would be a blessing, just something for us. We are starting completely over from absolutely nothing. Even 1 dollar would be helpful. Thank you and God bless.
