Help Us Help the World – Volunteer Emergency Responders Raising Funds for Disaster Relief Deployments

Rescue Response Group is a small, passionate team of emergency services volunteers from Canberra, Australia with one simple mission: to lend a hand where it’s needed most.

When disaster strikes—be it earthquakes, floods, cyclones, or humanitarian crises—we raise our hands to help. We give our time, skills, and hearts to support communities in crisis. But while the work is voluntary, the costs unfortunately are not.

We’re raising funds to help cover the start-up costs - insurance, admin and governance - as well as the travel, gear, and logistics needed for international deployments so that when the call comes, we can go—without hesitation.

Right now, the world is facing some serious challenges:

10x increase (yes - 1000%!) in natural disasters in the last 100 years, with a 4x increase in the last 30 years alone.

On average 50 000 deaths from natural disasters per year, with some events causing over 200 000.

Ongoing humanitarian crises, where support for displaced families, medical assistance, and logistical help is urgently needed.

Every dollar raised goes directly to getting skilled boots on the ground. We’re talking about:

✅ Emergency gear and PPE

✅ Medical supplies

✅ Communications and logistical support

✅ Making sure our volunteers can deploy quickly and safely

We’re not a big organization. We’re just everyday people—firefighters, medics, veterans and logistics legends—who believe in helping others when they need it most.

We volunteer our time, our expertise, and our energy. Now we’re asking for your support to help us get there.
