Fire Relief Fund for Scotty Dixson

Donation protected

On September 8 the Almeda / Glendower Fire tore through Southern Oregon and destroyed the home of Scott Dixson's family in Medford. With little time to spare during the evacuation, they were able to get themselves and their pets to safety - but they had no time to collect anything else.

Words from Scott himself: "Thank you. Not sure what to say. I was a Captions Operator at Oregon Shakespeare Festival, I loved my job. This event seems so surreal to me, and I never thought something like this would ever happen. We were just starting major renovations on our house. And now, we have nothing."

Now they need to rebuild their family home and pay for unforeseen expenses, all during a pandemic. There is no way to know exactly how much money will be needed, but I want to make sure they are covered. Any and all donations would be so very appreciated, if you cannot donate, please consider sharing and continuing to spread the word.

[I'm setting this GoFundMe on behalf of Scott Dixson as I am part of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival SafetyNet team that's been working to make sure that current / former OSF employees are getting the support they need during this disaster. In addition, Scott has limited access to internet and isn't able to set up this page himself at this time.]
