On Monday, September 8, 2025, illegal faulty electrical work done by an unlicensed worker started a fire at 245 Hawthorne St in Brooklyn, New York. The roof and top floor were impacted, with fire tearing through three apartments leaving them uninhabitable. It was heartbreaking to watch people lose their home, and we are trying to raise as much money as possible to rebuild. This building is a community of people who have lived here for years; mostly inhabiting families and older folk. Please consider donating to get these tenants back on their feet and to restore their homes to the state they were before the fire. There has been very little aid provided, so I'm calling on the community to help! Thanks!
