Fire Recovery Fund for Carol Tschudi

Carol's home was destroyed in the AlmedaDrive/Glendower Fire in Phoenix, Oregon. She thankfully evacuated safely, however the fire approached rapidly and with very little warning time she was not able to bring much at all with her.
Although she lives alone, the generosity of her friends in the valley has helped her navigate the emotional challenges of the evacuation and provided some meals and clothes to help comfort her.
This fundraiser will assist with immediate and long term needs which may include temporary living expenses, replacement of: clothes, toiletries, shoes, coats, tools, furniture, art supplies, and other belongings.
To bridge the gap with insurance funding and timing of completing insurance claims and reimbursements any money raised is greatly appreciated.
There are more than 600 families in the community whose homes were destroyed in this fire. The recovery and rebuilding process for Carol and the community will be lengthy and the full scope of needs is unknown at this time as the area is still under evacuation due to continuing fire, threat of fire and making the area safe for people to return.
This fundraiser was started by Carol's son Jeff and his wife Cherie who live in California and are helping Carol coordinate the recovery needs and process.
