Fire Recovery for Matthew Kopperud

Our Pre-K teacher Mrs. Kopperud's son Matthew is living in Canada with a host family, and experienced a parent's worst nightmare while living abroad. On February 24, he was awoken by a raging fire that nearly took the lives of all six people in the home. The house, cars, and everything inside was a total loss, including the lives of a few beloved pets. There is a fund set up for the family, and sadly Matthew is not covered for the loss of most of his belongings and has to rebuild out of his own pocket.
