They are deeply devastated by the loss of their home, but are also very concerned for the future of the small retail business that they own. Thankfully, the shopping center where their store, "Camouflage", is located has been spared, but the loss of sales during the peak of the holiday shopping season is going to be very difficult to recover from. Hopefully they will be able to reopen soon.
They are extremely strong, independent people, but I know that this recovery process is going to require the help of friends, family and their community. Any donation, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated. If you do not have the means to donate, please share the link to this page on social media and/or your email contacts. Thank you so much for helping them through this very difficult time, your support means the world to them and our family.
All my love,
Heather (Ceniceros) Levine
Edit: Go Fund Me is requiring me to include the following information so that they can protect against fraudulent campaigns related to the Thomas Fire...
-I am the daughter of Dawn & Dana Ceniceros
-I currently live in North Charleston, SC (proud to be raised in the Ojai Valley).
-My parents will spend the funds firstly on any immediate needs (i.e. food, clothing, toiletries, tools), also to supplement income lost during closure of their store, and most significantly to assist with expenses related to the reconstruction of their home.
-I am managing the go fund me page, but my dad (Dana Ceniceros) is setup as the beneficiary for all funds and will be the sole person withdrawing funds.
