Fire Loss Relief for Broderick

A member of our MV family and my personal friend, Broderick Dow (General Manager, Division 272), recently lost most of his own family's possessions in a house fire. Though no one was seriously injured, the house was destroyed.

Broderick and his family lost nearly all their possessions and must begin the unspeakably arduous task of trying to build a new life after losing everything--not only their possessions, but the treasured memories that go with them.

Broderick recently took over as GM of Division 272 and already had an immense task ahead of him. This tragedy adds a layer of extreme pain to an already stressful burden of work.

Many of you, like me, who know Broderick personally, carry immense respect for this man who, no matter how busy he might have been, always had a moment to speak with any of his employees. The burdens of management never kept him from stopping by my office to make me laugh when I needed it. Please join me in giving something back to Broderick when he needs it the most. Let's show him that his kindness and generosity of spirit can be matched by our determination to help him in this most difficult of times!
