Fire Evacuation Emergency

FIRE EMERGENCY: The Santa Maria Valley Humane Society is preparing to receive up to 200 dogs and cats who are being evacuated from Santa Barbara Animal Services so that agency can accept animal fire victims from the Alamo Fire. Our staff and volunteers have gone into 24 / 7 disaster response mode.

While our staff, including veterinarians and animal technicians, are responding to animals in need, we will quickly exhaust funds for overtime, dog food, and even cat litter.  We do not know the duration of the emergency so every dollar donated right now is critical.  Please give generously to help save as many pets as possible.
