Dear family, friends and neighbors,
Last night Cynthia and Dan experienced the terror of awaking in a smoke filled room as fire ravaged their home in Richland, NJ. Dan said that they were sound asleep when their cat, Yogi jumped on his chest and began tapping his face to wake him up. Disoriented and panic stricken they found their way outside to safety. Today, they are devestated and completely dispaced from their homestead. It will take many months to rebuild from the ashes. The fire and water damaged is extensive and the the structure of the home is unstable. They are truly so grateful to be alive.
Cyndthia and Dan are sincerely humbled any act of kindness and support. Your continued prayers are deeply needed.
They know that the process to relocate and rebuild is going to be long and difficlt. Please make a contribution to this Go Fund Me request to express your compassion and help them rebuild their lives.
Galatians 6:10: As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Here is a verse that summarizes the essence of Christian living: doing good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of faith. This verse challenges us to look beyond our own interests and boundaries and to extend God's love and grace to everyone we encounter.
And...we think Yogi, the hero of this story should have an endless supply of treats!
Loving God and people too,
