<div>On September 4, while I was away from home, a fire broke out in the house where I lived and worked. No one was hurt. Nothing else was saved.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>My office and workshop burned to the ground: every camera, every light, all my production gear, all my optics, including the set of vintage lenses I had spent years collecting and rehousing for cinema work, my drones, my tools, and the hard drives with almost my entire archive. The firefighters' preliminary conclusion is a lithium battery. My clothes, my documents and the money I had put aside at home burned with everything else. There was no insurance.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What I have left is what I had taken with me on a trip: a Sony FX3, which needs serious repair after that trip, and a backpack of lenses. My main camera, a Sony FX6, burned too. So I can still shoot, but only with a backup camera, and even that only once it is repaired. And I have no workshop, no editing setup, no set kit and, for now, no home.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>What the money is for
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I am asking for the minimum that lets me work again, because work is the only way I will rebuild the rest:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>€3,500: a used Sony FX6 to replace my main camera, the one clients book me with
</div>
<div>€600: hard drives to restore what is left of my archive
</div>
<div>€1,000: basic tools and parts to restart the lens workshop (restoring and modifying vintage lenses for filmmakers is half of my income)
</div>
<div>€400: cards, batteries and essentials that burned
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The editing station, lights and everything else, including housing, I will rebuild through that work.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Who I am
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>My name is Serghei, I am from Odesa. Until 2022 I worked as a director of photography, mostly on music videos and commercials. In 2022, when the very existence of my country was under threat, I joined the army of my own accord. I do not regret that choice, and I would make it again today. I kept shooting even there, sending the footage out over a satellite link. When I could no longer serve (health issues), I decided to move and start everything from zero: a small production company, AnyAngleFilms, and a workshop, Vintage4Film, where I restore vintage lenses for people who shoot film and video around the world. Two years of that work were in that room.

<div>I have never asked for help like this before. Any amount matters, and if you cannot donate, sharing this page helps just as much. I will post updates here with photos and receipts as things get replaced, so you can see exactly where your money went.

<div>A music video for the band Krykhitka. I started shooting it on February 20, 2022, but it only came out in June 2023, with a different song. This footage, too, went out over a satellite link. In this video and the SKAI one, the guy with the aircraft is me.

<div>ESPAÑOL
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
No había seguro.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Para qué es el dinero
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Quién soy
</div>
<div><br />
</div>

<div>УКРАЇНСЬКА
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Хто я
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />

<div>Дякую.
