Fiona’s Gender Affirmation Fund

My name is Fiona Moonchild and I’m a musician, an artist, and I’m now calling upon my friends, my chosen family and their extended networks for support in raising $15,000 to help me with costs for my upcoming gender affirming surgery on May 9th 2022. I am so grateful to be finally able to offer this surgery to myself. I live with gender dysphoria that makes many aspects of my life extremely challenging. This surgery will bring me immense euphoria and allow me to be in even greater alignment with my body.

These funds will go towards surgery costs as well as travel costs to weekly electrolysis appointments over the next 8 months, recovery costs including Air BNB/hotel rooms in San Francisco (where I have to travel from the LA area for my surgery), bills/rent at my current living situation and the daily living expenses that come with not being able to work for 6-8 weeks. I’m a low income person who has been out of consistent work and on unemployment the entirety of the pandemic. Federal pandemic assistance is over so I am currently without much steady income as I also cannot tour which I have been doing for the past 5+ years to make money.
