Finn Kobler AVM surgery support fund

Finn Kobler was preparing to leave for USC. His family was proud but also preparing for the transition of their only son leaving home. Without warning, Finn fainted and was rushed to the hospital. At Cedar Sinai in LA they ran tests all day and finally discovered that Finn has a rare condition that has created abnormal connections between the arteries in his brain. The family was in shock learning that their son, who has so much promise, has Arteriovenous malformation or AVM. This condition is one he was probably he was born with and usually shows itself around this age. A more detailed MRI was scheduled and doctors began planning a series of surgeries. Finn has been an active participant and leader in ShowDown Stage Company, which was founded by his parents Flip and Cindy Kobler. This family is one of the most giving families you could meet so this tragedy unfortunately falls on a salt of the earth people who do so much for so many. We are starting this campaign to meet the needs of both Finn and his family as they walk this difficult journey of surgeries and recovery with their son.School will be postponed for up to a year. To help them make it through this, let's rally around the family who has given so much to so many. They have sown so much good in the world, they have earned the right to reap some of what they have sown in the world. $5 will buy a coffee to keep a family member going as they wait through long surgeries. $10 will buy a sustaining lunch in the hospital. $20 an regenerative meal when they need a break from the nightmare. $50 will buy blankets to cover Finn with a reminder that he is not alone. $100 could buy a hotel room for a weary family member. Finn rode in an ambulance twice and those rides could start the bills off as high as $6,000 right off the bat. And of course brain surgery runs higher still. The surgeries will exceed $100,000 not to mention tests and hospital stays and probably the input of multiple doctors. So we welcome $1000 gifts if that is within your means.
