Over the past couple of years there have been key breakthroughs and helpful changes for the Sweetman's. However, the challenges associated with Finley’s Quadriplegia Spastic Cerebral Palsy continue. <div>In 2023 we helped Matt and Heather raise a significant amount towards an elevator. The Sweetman's have been using the elevator for a few months now. From home equity and savings they were also able to build an accessible bathroom and bedroom. These steps have helped tremendously.

<div>As we celebrate Finley's Golden Birthday, and consider her current needs, we want to ask for contributions towards her new fundraiser. This years goal is $29,300.
</div>

<div>Fundraiser breakdown:

<div>1. Hitch Lift: $3,000. Finley's new wheelchair needs a vehicle hitch lift.
</div>
<div>2. Special Needs Summer Camp: $3,500. A five week camp would help keep Finley active during summer.
</div>
<div>3. Special Needs Necessities: $4,800. A years worth of diapers, wipes, calorie dense food, and a whole slew of 'Finley things', really adds up across the year.
</div>
<div>4. Caregiving Funds: $6,000. Help the Sweetman's hire a special needs caregiver for roughly six hours a week.
</div>
<div>5. Therapy Costs: $12,000. Finely receives crucial therapies each week including speech, physical, and occupational. These are challenging expenses even with insurance.

<div>With all this in mind, please consider a financial gift for Finley's eleventh birthday. Every gift makes a difference. Unfortunately, programs in Illinois are either not adequately funded, or the Sweetmans do not qualify. Finley is registered with PUNS, but she is not eligible until she is older.
