Finlay@Windekind

On October 15th I will be running the Amsterdam marathon and to mark the event I would like to raise some sponsorship to help support the Multifuntional Centre Windekind (MFC Windekind) in Leuven which offers a wide range of specific support to children and young adults with physical, (neuro-) motoric and complex disabilities and their families.  My son Finlay, 16, attends this centre.  Finlay has a rare condition called bilateral fronto-parietal and perisylvian polymicrogyria which means he is unable to walk, talk or feed himself.  Finlay is in a wheelchair and has been attending the MFC Windekind for nearly 10 years.

To support and enable a holistic approach and the opportunity to develop an important level of independence the MFC Windekind are looking to invest in an interactive NEBULA wall developed by NYOYN.

The Nebula is an interactive wall of light that guarantees hours of fun, movement and magical experiences for both young and old. Children emerge in the wealth of challenges the Nebula offers in the area of education, social interaction, competitive gaming and motor skills. They can play educational games without supervision and the broad range of content keeps the Nebula challenging and fun for all ages.
