Finish Santa Monica Orphanage & Church Building

Hello everyone,

 

We are pleased to announce that the building in Santa Monica, Eastern Samar Philippines that will serve as both a church for the island as well as an orphanage is very close to completion!

 

Despite it not being completed, we have been visiting and holding church services there for the local community nonetheless as the people of the island have been so hungry to hear the Good News and the Word of God and it has been changing their lives for the better. Our messages from the Bible bring loving truth, hope, knowledge, wisdom, instruction, encouragement and much more to the community and as a result the standards of morality in the town gradually increase, little by little. This is evident.

 

Sadly there are still young children who are neglected on the island and need a safe place to stay and to be cared for and that's why we would like to have this building completed as soon as possible. Not only does this project mean alot to us but it literally means a completely different life for the children who are neglected on the island.

 

So we can be fully up and running, to complete the building we need basic furnishings like tables, chairs, cupboards, beds, kitchen appliances, and all necessary supplies for the orphanage which is located on the upper floor. We also need to purchase some musical instruments and more seating for the church which will be downstairs. These are just some of the items we need to equip the church and orphanage and we estimate the cost to be about $15,000 AUD.
