Finish building a school in Burundi village
Just imagine if we all donated just one thing we would have spent on this summer which in the end got cancelled - think nails, hair, dress, a meal out - anything and turn that into generosity. We can change a village with just one gift we would have spent on ourselves anyway and turn our disappointment into something real for school kids somewhere very different.
Bangor Pentecostal Church have been helping orphans through their charity “Annie’s Orphans” since 1997. They raise most of their money through charity shops and events. One of their current projects is building a school and bringing water to a village in Burundi, a country in Africa torn by a civil war that waged in the 90s. They made it half way through building the school before coronavirus. With the charity shops shut and an inability to host concerts and events ANY donation will make a huge difference to the children of Burundi.
