Fine for protecting step-daughter

Hi everyone. My dad was involved in a altication between a 14 year old boy who was bullying my step sister for months on end, resulting her being scared to goto school. He received a $1000 fine and also $3000 in lawyers and had to pay the bully $500 compensation. I’ve been asked by afew people to make a go fund me page to help my dad out with these expenses as he does not have this money to spare, as much as my dad wouldn’t want any money and puts everyone before himself, I want to help him.  This was very unlike him to do but as you can imagine any parent wouldn’t sit there and let their child get bullied to the extent that he did.  Any donations will be appreciated :) seeing all the care and support my dad has is amazing so thank you so much!
