About
GoodMine is a free app that helps you figure out what to do with your unwanted stuff, empowering you to make sustainable choices by finding selling, giving and donation options, both online and locally. Our goal is to make it easy for preloved consumer goods to be used again and again so we can stop the earth’s precious resources being wasted.

Why This Project?
According to the UN, should the global population reach 9.6 billion by 2050, the equivalent of almost three planets could be required to provide the natural resources needed to sustain current lifestyles. We need to do more and better with less. In the UK we throw away around 1.7million tonnes of reusable items each year - that’s the equivalent of 137,000 buses. Your waste is valuable - it can earn you money, help others and can be used to make new things. We are building an app that is going to make parting with used belongings as easy as returning unwanted new purchases. Please join our journey!
