Several weeks ago, my mom, Janet, was working as a substitute special education aide in southern Oregon. My family is now trying to fight for the best care for her after an unexpected and prolonged illness. She is currently in the hospital for an extended stay and she is the only one in my family who works. My parents have spent much of the holiday season and more than six weeks in and out of the ER, hospital stays, etc. but to no avail, we cannot seem to find the medical answers we need for her. We are praying for a miracle that current doctors and nurses on staff will be able to pinpoint what is causing her health issues.

My parents are hardworking folks and lost so much already in the Almeda Fire in 2020. They give back to those around them and are not ones to generally ask for help. As we try to navigate my mom’s prolonged illness, we thank you for any support you provide to help my Dad pay for medical bills and cost associated with my moms immediate care.
