Financial Support For Miley Rhoad's Recovery

Miley is a thirteen year old rising highschool freshman who has many active passions including clay shooting, horseback riding, longboarding, and basketball. On the evening of July 7th, Miley Rhoad was in a devastating car accident that has changed the entire course of her life. She was airlifted from the scene of the accident to Levine's Children's Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina where she remains in the ICU fighting to regain mobility of her body. As of right now, Miley can speak and has very limited mobility in her arms, but has no feeling or movement from the waist down. The night of her accident she was immediately taken into emergency surgery to repair shattered vertebrae in her neck, she has had surgery to add metal rods for additional stability in her neck, and her most recent surgery was a tracheotomy which has made verbal communication much easier for her. Her medical team says there will be many more surgeries to come. Miley's team hopes to be able to start some sort of physical therapy with her soon. There has been talk of Miley leaving the ICU and getting her own hospital room sometime in the next few days, but she still has a long road ahead of her in the hospital.

All of the proceeds raised from this will go directly to Evan Rhoad, Miley's dad. Evan is an amazing father to his three daughters and left work to go be in the hospital with Miley the night of her accident and unfortunately hasn't been able to return since. The money raised will go towards the unimaginable medical bills, unexpected legal fees, and extensive renovations that will need to be done in order to convert their home into being handicapped accessible. This accident has completely turned their world upside down, and any support is welcomed and cherished beyond belief.
