Financial Support for Cayman and Soledad

Donation protected
Cayman went into the ER on January 5th  with extraordinary pain and after a day and a half of observation he was transported to Children's Medical in Dallas.   (Children's Medical has been treating Cayman since he  was diagnosed with liver cancer as a young child  and they have been treating him for portal hypertension with varicies now as a teenager).  While at Children's Medical Center they have found a massive clot in his Mesentric vein from the tip of the bowels to his liver which also extends into the portal veins.  On January 17th he had his first surgery to remove the clot.  They were unable to remove the clot but they did inject medicine to thin out the clot.  This procedure has caused internal bleeding into his stomach and he was rushed to the OR on January 18th for another surgery to find the exact source of the bleeding.   He has been in ICU since the surgeries and will be there for several more days.

Soledad has been by Cayman's side since January 5th.  This little mama has been  holding his hand through the pain and caring and praying over every need he has had.   She's honestly had to live every mothers nightmare for the last 16 days with little sleep and little comfort in knowing what they next step is with Cayman in the hospital.    There is also very little relief once they return home because he will need 24 hour care while on blood thinners for 12 weeks at home.

Soledad works for an amazing company but her PTO is coming to an end and her monthly income is about to drastically change.    This family has medical expenses along with monthly expenses to run a household that will be hard to take care of while she is supporting her son through this medical journey.

Soledad and Cayman have received some amazing support from friends and family through  prayers, words of encouragement and visits to the hospital.   Several people have also reached out to ask if there is anything else they do to support this family which is why we have decided to create this gofundme page.     Let's bless this family by taking the financial burdens off of their shoulders.  Let us all come together and allow Soledad to care and pray over her son and not worry about the financial aspect of being in the hospital for so long.   Please take a moment to pray over this family and if you are able to contribute please consider helping them today!
