This page is intended to raise funds on behalf of a dear friend, Jenna, and her grandmother, Brenda, who have both had to be immensely stronger than any one person should ever have to be.

I won’t share the every detail, as many are not mine to share, and I hope you won’t need to hear them in order to be drawn to lend your support. But in short, Brenda and Jenna, for the second time in 6 months, found themselves in an ICU waiting room learning that they unexpectedly need to bury and learn to navigate life without someone they dearly loved.

About the recipients:

Brenda embodies the true nature of love. She always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and ALWAYS perseveres. She and her sweet husband raised multiple generations of women in her family, giving them love, security, and stability when the world had tried to strip it from them. She now finds herself having to bury her daughter just months after burying her husband, and I hope you will partner with me in providing her with the smallest bit of security as she navigates this unthinkable season.

Jenna— sweet, fierce, hilarious Jenna— has battled through the deepest losses life could throw and then fought and clawed her way out of a pit that was determined to steal her joy and her life. She fought to be the woman (and granddaughter) Brenda has always known she was, the mom that she always wanted Aubrie to have, and the daughter that Robin thought she had lost. Now, Jenna finds herself back in the pit of unexpected loss and the navigating the complexity of mourning her own mother mere months after losing the man who raised her and loved her unflinchingly, just as suddenly.

They haven’t asked for anything, and neither ever would. But I hope you would allow me to ask on their behalf. If you have it in your financial abilities to help ease the financial strain of this season, and provide these women with at least one hurdle that was knocked over before they could even reach it.
