Financial Recovery Support for Esa Hakkarainen

Esa Hakkarainen needs our help! Esa is a bipoc non-binary Seattle musician, and an expert DIY show booker and coordinator before the pandemic hit. Esa selflessly booked and coordinated dozens of events and shows for bands, musicians, and artists in the Seattle community last year- including many at the beloved Cafe Racer.

Esa currently drives a 2005 Hyundai Accent to transport themselves to work. on November 7th the transmission failed. Now Esa has not been able to get to work since that day- doing construction and building projects. Esa is now facing $2500 that they need to pay back for loans which cover their rent and car repairs. These loans are due to be paid back in January. Esa suspects they may not be able to sustain housing for themselves in January when these loan repayments are due. Esa is overwhelmed, stressed, and needs our help!

Esa is an incredibly selfless person, and is always doing things to help others who are in need, even when Esa doesn't have much themselves. Esa has also done so much work for the music community in Seattle because they are someone who celebrates musicians, music, and art deeply. They have done a lot for our community and friends- now let's help Esa get back on their feet.
