Financial recovery for Kale #BlackQueerLivesMatter
Hi there,
My name is Kale. I am a 27 year old, black gender non-conforming queer model and service professional , living in New York city for almost 6 years now. I I haven’t had the best year so far. I lost all sources of income due of COVID-19; I lost my beloved mother, at the age of 41 in July. That has caused my younger siblings to be separated b/c of paternal custody differences. My mental health has plummeted. I’m exhausted mentally, emotionally, and physically. Most days I can’t rise out of bed, fearing what will happen next. I live with my incredible partner and need to put food on the table. There’s not much work available , especially as winter approaches. With bills piling up, I’m overwhelmed with deep anxiety that won’t dwindle. It has taken a toll on my personal relationships. Pretending that I’m “OK” is tiring. I’m not “ok”.
With my pride aside, I ask you to help lighten the load. Help me maintain stable housing and recover from my past-due debts. I would greatly appreciate it.
Stay safe,
Kale
