Financial Help for the Weber Family

On Sunday March 18th 2018 Brian Weber (Owner of Michigan Sportsmen Bait-Tackle) was rushed by ambulance to the hospital after collapsing at the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Bay City. Brian was admitted and diagnosed with severe pancreatitis and a possible heart condition. Although the pancreatitis was only one of the health concerns doctors found, it had to be addressed first before moving forward with the heart concerns. On Thursday the 22nd they scheduled a heart catheterization. It was during this procedure that the doctors discovered the more severe issue and told Brian and his family he needed open heart surgery. This presented a large concern based on Brian's history of heart condition. Brian had quadruple bi-pass surgery 9 years prior and 5 stents sense. The 2 main arteries that were taken from his leg and replaced 9 years ago have now become 100% blocked as well as the stents that were put in more recently.  They also told Brian and the family that he also has blockage  at least 45-50% in all other arteries. With the history of his condition the cardiologist felt is was way to risky of a surgery to do local. They made contact with a team at  Beaumont Hospital Troy and instructed Brian to pretty much bed rest until he has surgery. Brian is now home and in the care of his family anxiously awaiting the call from the Beaumont team. This gofundme account was set up by fellow outdoorsmen looking to help out a family in need. All proceeds will be directly deposited into an account that only the Brian's wife Gail and Brian have access to, and will be used to help cover added expenses incurred due to travel to the Detroit area as well as any fees not covered by medical insurance. Although Gail has medical insurance through her place of employment it will not cover everything needed.
