The family and friends of Sergio Dueñez have suffered the tragic loss of his bright and shining spirit.
On January 1, 2018 Sergio was called home to be with the Lord after suffering a heart attack while driving. He passed away upon arrival to the hospital.
Sergio lived a vibrant life. His greatest accomplishments included raising two daughters with his wife Ana of 20 years. He was the best father anyone could ever ask for, a loving husband who loved his wife dearly. The best friend who was always there for you when you needed support, to be loved or to even just talk. He loved spending time with his three girls, every second he could. Day or night, cold or hot he made sure his youngest daughter Ariel always had an ice cream in her hand. They would get in the truck and go driving everywhere looking for the ice cream truck. Sergio and his oldest daughter Ariana could talk for hours, they understood each other as if they had the same exact mind, they would always finish each other’s sentences and even say the same thing at the exact same time. Sergio and his wife Ana had a relationship where they could talk about anything. They supported each other on bad or good days and loved each other for eternity.
Sergio left a mark with everyone he came in contact with. He treated everyone as if they were his own family - taking them under his wing to protect, comfort and provide plenty of laughs. He was full of life, adventure, and genuinely one of the kindest people.
Sergio worked in the telecommunications industry for over 15 years. His family has been hit severely hard, emotionally and financially from his tragic and sudden loss. Additionally, Sergio’s employment brought in 80% of the household income and there is unfortunately no life insurance policy to assist in end of life costs, mortgage and continue bills that his family has accumulated.
We are forever grateful for the support we have received and will continue to receive and for any help you can provide. We look forward to celebrating his life in every way possible!
