Many of you know our story and what's going on with Lily and those who don't I can fill you in, My daughter was diagnosed February 24 2023 with atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumor (Brain cancer) We Enrolled in a clinical trial Because we were told her chances of survival were very low! In the trial she began a very nasty regiment of chemotherapy.

<div>After we completed the Therapy, she caught a bad fungus infection in her lungs. Kidney and spleen which stop treatment from moving on 2 1/2 month of the infection not clearing and no treatment we had to jump straight into radiation. She went through 30 rounds to the back of her head! Originally, the second step of the treatment was supposed to be stem cell extraction from the bone marrow and 3 rounds of high dose chemo with stem cell transplant but because of the infection they couldn't follow protocol. Now that the infection is gone we started Stem cell extraction so we can move on to the high dose chemo and finish her treatment From what the doctor's Have told us this part of the treatment is key part of long term survival! They have tried collecting stem cells through the blood twice and have failed, we moved on to bone marrow extraction surgery and that did not turn out good as well, come to find out her immune system has dropped dramastically and it has the doctor's puzzled and declaring the treatment a fail for her! now they took more blood for genetic testing and other testing to find out what could be the cause and now we are at a stand still waiting for other specialists from different hospitals to come up with something! Because of her Immune system dropping we are basically told to quarantine and be very cautious that she does not get sick that it would not be good! So this makes it very hard to bring any money In! We sold everything of value we owned to get bye this year! The hospital helps with the bills But it's still a process and it always takes time for bills we submit. We've had our power cut off on us this year because the check didn't get to dte before the hold time was up! Dhs Has us reapplying every other month for food stamps because technically Iam still employed, But I'm on a family leave with no pay so now we are waiting again on dhs. Phone bills are due, dippers and food running low Barely enough gas to get back and Fourth for the hospital this week! This year ! I can't even explain the stress and pain it's been! But I do thank God everyday for waking us up and keeping lily's cancer in remission with everything going on seeing her at home and full of life it's definitely keeping my mental together! It just suck to all ways have to worry about everything! So please if you can help us out I greatly appreciate it! And if you can't please just keep Lily in your prayers and thoughts!
